Liturgical Ministry

Lectors serve a vital role at Mass by proclaiming the Word of God through the Scripture readings. This is a low-commitment way to serve, as readings follow an established schedule giving you plenty of time to prepare in advance. Both Sunday and weekday openings are available.

Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion assist the clergy in distributing the Body of Christ during Mass. EMHCs serve at Sunday Masses as well as weekday Masses.

Altar servers assist the priest at the altar during Mass. Alter servers are present during Sunday and weekday Masses, as well as weekday Holy Hours. This ministry is reserved for men, but it's a great way to be a public witness of the faith!

Sacristans help set-up and clean-up after masses and holy hours. They assist will Sunday & daily masses, as well as daily holy hours. This is a great behind-the-scenes role!

Ushers greet people before mass, help with collection baskets & are around after Sunday masses to wish people a good week & assist with passing out any flyers! This is a easy way to join liturgical ministries & one of the easiest roles!
